The competent parliamentary committee responsible for auditing asset (“Source of Wealth”) declarations has released to the public the statements of assets and financial interests submitted by MPs, Members of the European Parliament, mayors, and regional governors.
The disclosures include 1,837 declarations for the year 2025 (covering fiscal year 2024), as well as 17 initial declarations.
The filings include the financial information of the prime minister, political party leaders, members of the cabinet, members of parliament, MEPs, regional governors, mayors, and individuals responsible for managing political party finances.
The “Pothen Esches” declarations include, among other things, the income of political figures for the relevant fiscal years (2024 in this case). They also include information regarding bank loans, real estate holdings, participation in companies, and ownership of shares.
Corresponding information is also included for spouses.
The asset declaration of Kyriakos Mitsotakis
Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in his asset declaration for 2025 (fiscal year 2024), declares income of €81,672, of which €10,700 comes from real estate exploitation.
The Prime Minister maintains 10 bank accounts, with the total amount of deposits reaching €575,624.
The portfolio of the president of New Democracy in shares and bonds remains stable compared to the previous year and includes investment insurance contracts (life insurance policies) valued at over €3,000 and mutual fund units of BNP Paribas valued at approximately €29,000. In the 2024 fiscal year, the disposal/write-off of 500,000 Hellenic T-Bill bonds is also included, with an acquisition value of €490,575.
The real estate property of Mr. Mitsotakis remains stable compared to the 2023 fiscal year.
The Prime Minister shows a debt of €6,100 from an initial loan of €35,700 and a debt of €150,000 from a loan granted to him by Alexandra Gourdain.
The asset declaration of Nikos Androulakis
Nikos Androulakis, in his asset declaration for 2025 (fiscal year 2024), declared total income of €58,042.01, of which €36,529.56 comes from parliamentary remuneration, €21,504.96 from real estate, and €7.49 from dividends, interest, and rights.
He has total deposits of €58,399.04, of which €55,559.78 are in the National Bank of Greece.
The president of PASOK acquired in 2024 a detached house of 40.16 sq.m. in Serifos, built in 1992, for which he paid a price of €120,000 coming from income of previous years. At the same time, he maintains from previous years 13 properties in Crete, 2 in Attica, and one in Belgium.
However, what causes impression is the fact that from the table of bank deposits are missing the savings he previously declared that he held in accounts in Belgium, amounting to €1 million.
Finally, he declares a sole proprietorship (100%) and a 2% participation in the company MANI S.A., while he owns one passenger car with engine capacity 1,598 cc.
The asset declaration of Sokratis Famellos
No significant changes compared to the previous year are recorded in the asset declaration of Sokratis Famellos, which has been made public and reflects a relatively stable picture regarding income, deposits, and real estate of himself and his spouse.
According to the declaration, total net income of Sokratis Famellos from salaried services, allowances, and additional remunerations amounts to €43,804.68, while additional income from real estate of €1,971.33 is declared. At the same time, amounts of €15,000 from disposal of assets, loans, or other sources are shown, as well as income from interest and rights amounting to €2.14.
The bank deposits of the president of SYRIZA also show no significant changes, with the largest amount located in an account at Piraeus Bank, where €42,999.74 is declared. In other accounts in Piraeus Bank, the National Bank of Greece, and Attica Bank, smaller amounts are recorded, from a few euros up to approximately €1,200.
In the section of real estate property, Sokratis Famellos declares an apartment in Thermi, Thessaloniki, with an area of 179.53 square meters, as well as a series of properties in Ilia, including a detached house in Pyrgos and agricultural land. At the same time, he owns a detached house and an apartment in Folegandros, while the declaration also includes an apartment of 42.91 sq.m. in Germany, which was acquired in 2015 through a mortgage loan.
In the detailed elements of the declaration it is stated that part of the real estate in Ilia came through inheritance, while for the property in Thermi it is noted that the additional 12.5% share was acquired following acceptance of inheritance from his spouse, who passed away in 2018.
Regarding vehicles, the president of SYRIZA declares one passenger car of 1,560 cc, which was acquired in 2023 for €8,000.
The declaration also includes a sole proprietorship providing services, which however—as noted—is inactive.
Regarding loan obligations, Sokratis Famellos declares a mortgage loan of €200,000 with a remaining balance of €23,411.52, as well as a loan of €15,000 from Parliament with a remaining balance of €14,375. At the same time, a credit card debt of approximately €1,100 is recorded, as well as a loan to a private individual with a remaining balance of €6,841.24.
The asset declaration of Dimitris Koutsoumbas
Dimitris Koutsoumbas, in his asset declaration for 2025 (fiscal year 2024), declared total income of €76,080.77. According to a note in his declaration, the income from his parliamentary capacity was deposited to the KKE, as provided by the party’s statute.
His deposits amount to €23,662.54, distributed in four accounts in the National Bank of Greece: the special parliamentary account has a zero balance, one account contains €4,737 from income of the year, another €18,718.82 (of which €8,240.76 from income of the year and the remaining €10,478.06 from previous years), and a fourth €206.72.
The General Secretary of the KKE maintains two registered properties, specifically two apartments in Lamia (60 sq.m. and 45 sq.m., ground floor, built in 1966), which he acquired through parental donation in 1990. In this year’s declaration, a change in their description is noted due to legalization. He declares no vehicles, businesses, or company participations.
The asset declaration of Zoe Konstantopoulou
The income for the year for Ms. Zoe Konstantopoulou amounts to €79,465, of which €42,500 comes from professional activity. Approximately €25,000 is deposited in bank accounts, while real estate remains unchanged compared to the previous year.
The president of Plefsi Eleftherias owns a 1,600 cc car, participates with 50% in the law firm “Nikos and Zoe Konstantopoulou,” and shows a credit card balance of €1,759.61.
The asset declaration of Dimitris Natsios
The president of Niki, Dimitris Natsios, in his asset declaration for 2025 (fiscal year 2024), declared income of €30,082.48 from salaried services, €230 from real estate, €2,352 exempt from tax, €15,000 from disposal of assets and loans, and €2.03 from interest and dividends.
His deposits amount to €19,322.38 and are distributed in eight accounts in four banks (National Bank, Eurobank, Piraeus, Optima Bank), with the largest amount in one account at the National Bank of Greece (€18,825.73).
He owns four properties in Pieria and Kilkis, which he acquired in previous years through parental donation: an apartment of 119 sq.m. in Petra Pierias (bare ownership 33.33%), two plots in Petra (full ownership 100% and 25% respectively), and an apartment of 145 sq.m. in Kilkis (50%). He also maintains a passenger car from 2006 and a mortgage loan of €163,000 at Eurobank (2006, remaining €99,213.45, maturity 2032).
In 2024, Mr. Natsios transferred via parental donation an apartment of 89.85 sq.m. in Kilkis, while retaining the mortgage loan attached to it. At the same time, he acquired two cars: one new 1,490 cc for €27,000 (€12,000 from own funds and €15,000 from a loan) and one used 1,796 cc for €100. For the purchase of the first he received a consumer loan of €14,960 from the National Bank in November 2024 (remaining €14,599.22, maturity 2027).
The asset declaration of Kyriakos Velopoulos
In the 2025 asset declaration (fiscal year 2024), Kyriakos Velopoulos shows income of €101,017 and bank deposits exceeding €265,000.
The president of Greek Solution proceeded in 2024 to the sale of grazing land in Kallikrateia, Chalkidiki, 7.9 stremmata, receiving €24,000 for his 32% share.
His wife, Olga Petropoulou, shows income of approximately €29,000 and bank deposits exceeding €500,000, of which €415,000 are in Deutsche Bank.
The asset declaration of Alexis Tsipras
Changes with addition of properties appear in the asset declaration of Alexis Tsipras. The former Prime Minister acquired through parental donation two apartments in Dionysos, 119 sq.m. and 211 sq.m. respectively. He also inherited in Athamánio Arta a 25% share of a 855 sq.m. plot.
Mr. Tsipras maintains a 650 cc motorcycle and 90% of the shares of the Institute for Peace and Democracy (NGO). His income for the year amounted to €72,000, while deposits in banks amount to approximately €18,000. His wife, Betty Baziana, shows income of €29,301 while her savings amount to €155,000.
The asset declaration of Stefanos Kasselakis
Stefanos Kasselakis in his asset declaration for 2025 (fiscal year 2024) shows income of €8,372 from business activity and $122,430 from real estate he owns abroad.
In 2024 he proceeded to the sale of bonds, mutual funds, and financial derivatives receiving $3,875,045 although the total acquisition value amounts to $3,976,250.
Mr. Kasselakis is shown to be selling and buying the same company OSIOS LLC based in the USA while participating with 75% in the company Pura Vita based in Greece.
Finally, his loan obligations exceed $1.5 million.
His partner, Tyler Bruckbeth, for fiscal year 2024 transferred €1,827,000 in foreign currency in order to purchase a property. This is the 4th-floor apartment of 246 sq.m. in Kolonaki, for which €1,826,416 was paid. According to the declaration, the objective value of the property is estimated at €775,405.
The asset declaration of Antonis Samaras
The former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, in his asset declaration for 2025 (fiscal year 2024), declared income of €102,279.11, of which €59,676.10 from salaried services, €37,068.84 from remuneration exempt from tax or taxed separately, €5,520 from real estate, and €14.17 from dividends and interest. In addition, he declared €200,000 under “disposal of assets, loans, donations, inheritances, lump sums, etc.”
His deposits amount to €244,747.86. The largest part, €234,795.08, is in a joint account with his spouse at the National Bank of Greece, of which €200,000 comes from a donation and €34,795.08 from income of previous years. The remaining accounts contain very small amounts, while one of them, at Alpha Bank, has €10.99 and has been inactive for 21 years.
The former Prime Minister owns 3,500 non-listed shares of ANEN LINES, with acquisition value €10,271.46 and current valuation €1,400.
Mr. Samaras declares eight properties, all acquired in previous years: a 383 sq.m. detached house on a 2,335 sq.m. plot in Kifissia acquired via parental donation in 1984, a 150 sq.m. apartment in Athens (usufruct, exchange in 2009), a 9,477 sq.m. tree cultivation plot in Evia, two plots in Lavreotiki as inheritance, and three properties in Pylos, Messinia, including an unfinished 178.24 sq.m. detached house under construction with a 50 sq.m. pool, for which €53,672.75 have been spent, of which €36,635.88 from income of the year.
He declares two passenger vehicles that are inactive, as license plates have been deposited since 1996 for one and since 2007 for the other, while he declares no loan obligations.
The asset declaration of Afroditi Latinopoulou
Significantly higher income compared to the 2024 declaration is reported by MEP and president of “Voice of Reason,” Afroditi Latinopoulou, in her 2025 asset declaration (fiscal year 2024), declaring total income of €82,496.89, of which €59,370.69 comes from salaries and compensation from the European Parliament, €18,900.89 from salaried services, and €4,225.31 from business activity.
Her deposits amount to €86,294.46 in four accounts, with most funds in two accounts at Piraeus Bank (€29,259.31 and €56,261.29), one at the National Bank (€773.86), and one at Optima Bank with a zero balance. The total deposits come from income of the year, compared to €4,760.15 in one account at the National Bank in the previous year.
She owns two investment insurance contracts (lifetime National Bank policies), valued at €172.76 each, and one passenger car 1,498 cc (first circulation 2007, purchased 2018 for €3,995).
In 2024, Ms. Latinopoulou acquired a 61.80 sq.m. apartment on the fifth floor of a building from 1961 in Thessaloniki through parental donation and without payment. She declares no loan obligations.
It is noted that in the 2024 declarations (fiscal year 2023), before her election to the European Parliament, Ms. Latinopoulou had declared income of only €3,001.68 exclusively from business activity.
