It was announced that the state of emergency due to water scarcity in Leros has been extended.
More specifically, the Minister of Environment and Energy, Stavros Papastavrou, signed the relevant decision following the approval of the Regulatory Authority for Waste, Energy and Water (RAAEY) and the Secretary General for the Aegean and Island Policy. The decision extends the emergency status due to drought conditions on Leros for an additional three months.
