A new wildfire broke out in an area of low vegetation on Paros on Thursday afternoon (July 30), triggering an immediate response from the Fire Service.

A 112 emergency alert was sent to residents and visitors in the Aspro Chorio area, urging them to evacuate toward Dryos. “Follow the instructions of the authorities,” the message said.

A total of 35 firefighters are currently operating at the scene, supported by 10 fire engines and two ground teams.
