The Greek Patriot Guided Missile Battery stationed in Saudi Arabia successfully engaged a ballistic missile and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) originating from Yemen, launching a total of two missiles.

According to the briefing, the engagement took place today at 13:40, by the Battery of the Hellenic Saudi Arabia Force (ELDYSA).

The action was carried out as part of ELDYSA’s participation in the international initiative “Integrated Air Missile Defense (IAMD) Concept”, whose mission is to support the air defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia: Six Houthi ballistic missiles targeting Taif and Yanbu intercepted

The Saudi-led coalition announced that its forces had intercepted six ballistic missiles launched by Yemen’s Houthis targeting the Saudi cities of Taif and Yanbu.

The coalition’s spokesman, Brigadier General Turki al-Maliki, said in a series of posts on the X platform that the attacks had been thwarted and warned that the group’s actions would be met with determination.

“Escalations and violations by the terrorist Houthi militia will be dealt with firmly,” he said.
