Initial reports indicate that all crew members are safe. However, the extent of the damage to the tanker is not yet known, nor is it known whether the incident has had any environmental impact. The investigation is ongoing and further information is expected.

The relevant security services are warning vessels operating in the area to maintain continuous visual surveillance and radar operations, implement the prescribed protective measures, and report any suspicious activity to the local maritime authorities.

Crews are also advised to monitor local and national warnings regarding airborne threats and, where available, follow the instructions of military authorities in the event of an attack involving missiles or loitering munitions.
