Police authorities arrested a 37-year-old U.S. citizen after she was found taking photographs in an area near military installations.

However, according to reports, the possibility that this was a case of espionage now appears to be receding.

The 37-year-old works as a professional photographer, while an initial examination of the photographic material in her possession revealed nothing suspicious or posing a threat to the security of the installations.

Following the completion of the police preliminary investigation, the woman was released.

Nevertheless, the authorities’ investigation remains ongoing in order to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
