140 events across dozens of archeological sites and museums around Greece are being held to celebrate the full moon on August 29. Apart from the concerts, theater performances, exhibitions, film screenings and other events there will be admission to all sites free of charge.
The Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion will also be open, whereas the Acropolis will close to the public at 8 p.m. for safety reasons due to works being carried out there. The Acropolis Museum will hold a night of tango.
