Finland’s Finance Minister Alexander Stubb believes that the resignation of the Greek government will not have a negative impact on the 3rd Greek bailout plan approved by the Eurrogoup and EU member states. In an interview to Helsigin Sanomat Stubb underlined that regardless of which party wins the elections, he assumes the terms reached in the agreement will be honored, adding that the problems in Greece will not disappear irrespective of the elections. The Finn politician pointed out that ‘an optimist could think that the elections could produce a wider coalition government and better support for the aid package’.
