A 4.2 earthquake on the Richer scale occurred some in the Dodecanese in the Aegean Sea.
The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre estimates the magnitude of the tremor at 4.2, while its epicentre is located in a marine area 87 km southeast of the island of Karpathos.
