The Israeli army conducted airstrikes in southern Gaza Strip today, after an exchange of weapons fire with Palestinian gunmen, according to the Israeli military spokesman.

“In response to the attack against our forces in the east of the fence in the southern Gaza Strip, we attacked against the targets immiediately”. After the announcement, the Palestinian medical sources released a statement saying that a member of Hamas was killed today in the same area.
