Alternate Social Insurance Minister Dimitris Stratoulis rejected media reports and leaks that the Greek delegation offered to impose penalties to civil servants that apply for early pensions. “I categorically deny these leaks. The Greek delegation is struggling so that the zero deficit clause will not be applied because if it is implemented the 90% of the supplementary pensions will be evaporated. This government will give this battle to the very end,” he said in Parliament on Wednesday.
