ASE opening: Drop

Equity prices recorded a drop on Friday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) as the basic share price index decreased by 0.64%, at 956.13 points at 11:00 am with a turnover at 5.155 million euros.

Individual sector indices saw the biggest gains in Media (+3.70%), Telecoms (+0.74%) and Travel & Leisure (+0.68%). The biggest losses were recorded in Financials (-1.03%), Banks (-0.84%) and Utilities (-0.77%).

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks decreased by 0.51%, and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index went up 0.40%.
