ASE opening: Small drop

20 of the stocks traded went up, 27 went down and 15 remained unchanged.

Equity prices fell slightly on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) on Wednesday, with the basic share price index dropping 0.26%, at 940.26 points at 11:00 am, and turnover at 5.255 million euros.

The biggest gains on individual sector indices were recorded in Commerce (+1.08%) and Chemicals (+1.02%). The biggest losses were recorded in Personal & Household (-1.75%), Travel & Leisure (-1.67%) and Utilities (-0.96%).

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks dropped by 0.32% and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index also went down 0.31%.
