Equity prices were rising on Thursday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index increased by 0.57%, standing at 1,179.67 points at 11:00 am, and turnover at 11.76 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.74%, and the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was also up 0.27%.
On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Real Estate (+2.73%), Telecoms (+1.62%) and Banks (+1.51%).

The heaviest losses were in Commerce (-1.71%), Constructions (-0.55%) and Oil (-0.43).

Of the stocks traded, 36 were up, 15 were down, and 9 were unchanged.
