Equity prices rose on the Athens Stock Exchange on Thursday with the basic share price index increased by 0.7% at 773.31 points at 11 a.m. and turnover at 3.10 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.95% and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 0.54%.

Individual sector indices noted the biggest gains in Food (+1.85%), Banks (+1.80%), and Personal & Household (+1.67%). The only sector moving downwards was that of Real Estate (-1.36%).

32 of the stocks traded increased, 12 went down and 11 remained unchanged.
