Athens Stock Exchange: Rise

39 of the stocks traded increased, 13 went down and 5 remained unchanged

Equity prices rose on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) at 11 a.m. on Wednesday with the basic share price index increased by 0.82% at 829.33 points and turnover at 9.56 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 1.06% while the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 0.76%.

Individual sector indices noted the biggest gains in Banks (+2.95%), Financials (+1.83%) and Utilities (+1.37%). The biggest losses were in Real Estate (-0.94%), Construction (-0.60%) and Oil (-0.44%).
