Equity prices rose on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) at 11 a.m. on Tuesday with the basic share price index up 1.78% at 702.50 points with turnover at 7.88 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 2.53% and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 1.68%.
All individual sector indices were moving upwards with the biggest gains in Banks (+6.37%), Telecoms (+3.79%) and Health (+3.51%) and Food and Beverages (+2.44%).

STOCKS: 48 increased, 8 were down and 5 remained unchanged.
