Equity prices rose on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) on Tuesday, with the basic share price index up 1.07% at 910.34 points at 11.00 a.m. and turnover at 6.08 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks increased to 1.11%, and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index slightly increased to 0.03%.

On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Oil (+1.46 percent), Banks (+1.41 percent) and Utilities (+1.13 percent). The biggest losses were in Health (-0.93 percent), Commerce (-0.81 percent) and Travel & Leisure (-0.54 percent).
