Equity prices rose on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) on Thursday, with the basic share price index up 0.48% at 876.50 points at 11.00 a.m. and turnover at 8.35 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.69%, and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 0.29%.

On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Telecoms (up 1.98%), Constructions (up 1.59%) and Health (up 1.61%). The biggest losses were in Insurance (down 3.45%), Travel & Leisure (down 0.42%).
