Equity prices declined at the opening of the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) on Tuesday with the basic share price index down to 0.50%, standing at 1,264.09 points at 11:00 a.m. and turnover at 7.757 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.43%, and the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was down, 0.37%.
Individual sector indices moved mostly downwards with the biggest gains in Media (up 1.18%), Real Estate (up 0.48%) and in Telecoms (up 0.43%).
The biggest losses were noted in Commerce (down 1.50%), Industrial Products (down 1.05% and in Technology (down 0.70%).
26 of the stocks traded were up, 25 were down and 8 remained unchanged.
