Ban on ferry departures from Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio due to bad weather

A new wave of bad weather has hit Greece in the last few hours, with snowfall and strong winds creating several problems throughout the country.

A ban on ferry departures has been imposed from the ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio to the islands of Cyclades, northeastern Aegean, Dodecanese and Crete.

Moreover, the services linking Piraeus with the islands of Hydra, Spetses, Aegina and Poros are run by closed type ferries.
