Benaki Museum presents Tony Cragg

His exhibition includes 25 sculptures mainly made of wood, bronze, stone and mirror-finished stainless steel.

Tony Cragg is one of the world’s most foremost sculptors and his sculptures are displayed at permanent collections of the most important museums of the world.

The exhibition of Tony Cragg will run from September 10 to November 8 at Benaki Museum and includes 25 sculptures mainly made of wood, bronze, stone and mirror-finished stainless steel.

His sculptures that will be presented at the exhibition have Cragg’s innovative use of urban and industrial detritus which opened up a new territory for sculpture at the same time as dealing with environmental and social concerns in post-industrial Britain. Cragg represented Britain at the XLIII Venice Biennale in 1988 and was awarded the Turner Prize the same year.
