No German-Greek deal on further supporting Greece was struck during the meeting between the Greek Minister of Finance Gikas Hardouvelis and his German counterpart Wolfgang Schäuble in Berlin on Wednesday, the German Ministry of Finance said, according to the Bloomberg news agency in Athens.

Mr Hardouvelis and Mr. Schäuble met and discussed the issue, yet the discussion was non-committal. The news agency also reported that the German Ministry refutes Greek media reports regarding the talks between the two ministers.
