Covid-19 pass abolished from May1 – Capacity returns to 100%

One test per week for unvaccinated workers from two now

At today’s meeting, the Covid Committee of Experts of the Ministry of Health unanimously recommended:

– Suspension of Covid pass from May 1 and a return to 100% capacity to 100%.

– Suspension of EUDCC certificate at the country’s entry points.

– 1 rapid test per week (two so far) for unvaccinated workers, with the exception of hospitals and Old People’s Homes where 2 rapid tests per week for unvaccinated workers are still required.

– 1 rapid test (from 2 now) for unvaccinated teachers and faculty members. There will be clarifications from the Ministry of Education.

The Committee’s proposal has been accepted by the Government and the details will be clarified in the forthcoming JMC.
