‘Brexit’ supporters lead, shows latest poll

A large swing in favour of the anti-EU faction compared to previous survey

According to a online poll conducted by ICM on the how the Britons would vote in the June 23 referendum about whether the country should stay in the EU or leave, 48 percent said they prefer Britain leave the EU, compared to the 24 percent who say they favoured remaining in the EU. An interesting finding revealed that the final battle could be determined by the undecided who polled at 12 percent. The survey was carried out on a sample of 2,030 online voters between April 8 and 10. Compared to a similar poll conducted by ICM on the same topic on April 6, this is a large shift in favour of a ‘Brexit’, as then the pro-EU people were ahead by 1 percentage point (43) compared to the anti-EU voters.
