British Prime Minister: ‘If the UK breaks apart, it breaks apart for ever’

He calls people to vote ‘no’ in the referendum next week

The British Prime Minister David Cameron issued a high plead to the people of Scotland asking them to think about their decision and vote ‘no’.

“Together, the United Kingdom embodies the values the world looks on with awe and envy.” Cameron writes to Daily Mail.

“The United Kingdom is a precious and special country. That is what is at stake. So let no one in Scotland be in any doubt: we desperately want you to stay; we do not want this family of nations to be ripped apart,” Cameron added.

“If the UK breaks apart, it breaks apart forever. So the choice for you is clear: a leap into the dark with a Yes vote, or a brighter future for Scotland by voting No. You can have the best of both worlds in the UK. You can have more powers in Scotland. And you can be part of a United Kingdom”.

“Our message to the Scottish people will be simple: We want you to stay,” Cameron stressed.
