Burger King releases black burger

Burgers are served with bamboo charcoal cheese and in black buns

Famous restaurants around the world have been using squid ink to color the bread and pasta for many years in order to create unique dishes. For instance, the famous restaurant Hinoki & the Bird in Los Angeles serves its lobster roll on a black bun.

But, Burger King in Japan decided to change the way we see food and bring the “black food” in our familiar fast food chain introducing two limited edition creations, the Kuro Pearl and Kuro Diamond.

Both burgers are served with bamboo charcoal cheese and in black buns, whereas Diamond burger has lettuce and tomatoes. The hamburger patties are made with black pepper and the sauce is made with onion, garlic and squid ink.

Enjoy your meal!
