C. Xiros is charged with heading an unknown terrorist organization (weapons photos)

Police are still investigating the hideout that was full of weapons

Two public prosecutors on Sunday charged fugitive terrorist Christodoulos Xiros with creating and being in charge of an unknown terrorist organization and with aggravated possession of weapons. Charges also included forgery, violation of detention rules, illegal firearm possession. The prosecutors pressed charges against three unknown individuals who appear to have rented the house to Mr. Xiros for harboring a criminal.

The police are continuing to investigate the Anavyssos hideout used by fugitive terrorist Christodoulos Xiros. The home, was 300 square meters, and so far, the police have found part of an RPG gun, three rockets, eight Kalashnikovs, two of which had lasers for greater effectiveness when meeting their targets. Parallel to this they found two sacks containing 12 kilos of dynamite that could have been used to explode the wall of Korydallos prison in Mr. Xiros’ attempt to free members of the Cells of Fire organization that he was planning to help break out of jail.

Here is what they found:

* Kalashnikovs, two of which were equipped with laser

* Many bullets that are still being counted

* Three guns

* A rocket

* Three RPG parts

* 2 hand grenades

 

* 2 cell phones processed with a cable

* 23 explosives of which 13 had customized wicks

* 8 electric detonators

* 2 NONEL coils (wicks of new technology)

* 3 plastic cables with a common detonator

* a number of nylon bags containing quantity cores and amounts of unknown substance, unknown quantities of granular material of white colors

* 6 plastic beverage bottles

* 5 common dual attach detonators

* 7 big bags, about 10 pounds each with explosive

* 1 mechanism with a mechanical timer

* tree bark, probably pine

* 1 bag of ammonium nitrate

* 1 gun silencer

* a purse with 12 cases – clips with 10 Kalashnikov cartridges

* 13 cases and cartridge links

* Batteries, lights, screwdriver, banana plugs, Bourne, weather strips, ground matches, pressure switches, bulb burnt with custom flame retardant, detonating cord, jar of gunpowder, plastic clothespin

* 2 bags of about six pounds each with explosives, likely dynamite

* 1 metal barrel, hollow with the capacity of approximately a 100 liters with cement on its walls
