Hania expects more than 90,000 cruise visitors in 2015

Authorities are already providing extra care to making cleanliness, passenger support, and traffic the sectors of focus in order to provide the best experience to vacationers

Around 90,000 cruise visitors are expected to arrive in Hania, Crete, within the next few months.

The two ports which will be servicing the larger vessels, Souda and Hania, expect 62 cruise ship arrivals, according to the port Authority. The ships belong to world leaders in cruise liners, such as MSC Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Costa Cruises, Princess Cruises, and Aida Cruises, which will dock in Hania for the first time. The Souda port will service 49 of the 62, while Hania port will accomodate the rest.

Port authorities are already focusing on cleanliness, passenger support and traffic management in order to provide the best experience to vacationers, reports state.
