Co-pilot Andreas Lubitz “announced” fatal flight -He had flown over the spot of the tragedy many times

“One day everyone will be talking about me” said to his former partner – He would wake up from nightmares screaming: “We are falling” – He was continuously worried about his job contract – He used to fly over the area of the crash with a glider

Following revelations that 28-year-old Germanwings co-pilot Andreas Lubitz was diagnosed with severe depression and was even hospitalized, the German tabloid “Bild” reports that he had more-or-less “announced” the fatal flight.

Bild said Lubitz was planning an “impressive act” so everyone would remember his name.

The tabloid quoted statements by the man’s former girlfriend, who recalled him saying that “one day he would do something so everyone will know of his name.”

That “something” apparently was slamming the Airbus into the side of a French Alps mountainside, killing 149 people on board.

The woman, 26, also claimed that Lubitz would often awake from nightmares screaming “We are falling”, while saying the co-pilot seemed “troubled” and was capable of keeping secrets.

The young stewardess met him at work and remembers that every time they talked about their jobs, he would get angry about working conditions and his salary.

As for his medical condition, the woman said “he wouldn’t talk much about it, but blame her for following a psychiatric treatment.”

Two weeks prior to the tragic incident, Lubitz had visited a hospital, although the reason remains unknown.
