Communist Party of Greece (KKE) Secretary General Dimitris Koutsoumbas spoke at the Communist Youth party (KNE) festival held at Antonis Tritsis park in the Athens.

He said that the ideas of social liberation, scientific communism and the struggle to overturn capitalism in favour of socialism are still timely and as necessary as ever and called on people to fight together in order to exit from the crisis.

Referring to current developments, Mr. Koutsoumbas spoke of blackmail, terrorism and false hopes and fake disagreements between coalition parties New Democracy and PASOK and main opposition party SYRIZA and other opposition parties regarding who is the best negotiator for the debt.
