Coronavirus Greece – 15,305 new cases, 77 deaths and 463 intubated

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,202 patients have been discharged from the ICU

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Greece in the last 24 hours stood at 15,305, of which 33 were identified after checks at the country’s entry points. The total number of cases amounts to 2,289,330 (daily change + 0.7%), of which 49.6% are men. Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 313 are considered related to travel from abroad and 2,232 are related to an already known case.

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 77, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 25,260 deaths have been recorded. 95.0% had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 463 (63.3% men). Their median age is 67 years. 86.2% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 344 (74.3%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 119 (25.7%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,202 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
