Coronavirus Greece – 3,928 new cases, 160 intubated and 23 deaths

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,664 patients have been discharged from the ICU

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus (individuals) recorded in the last 24 hours were 3,928. The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,410,481 (daily change + 0.1%), of which 48.8% are men.

The number of possible new infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 453 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 130,952 (3.7% of the total number of positive results.

There are 23 new deaths of patients with COVID-19, while a total of 29,642 deaths have been recorded since the beginning of the epidemic. 95.6% had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 160 (63.8% men). Their median age is 72 years. 93.1% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 79 (49.38%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 81 (50.62%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,664 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
