Coronavirus Greece – 4,026 new cases, 9 deaths, 130 intubated

52.31% of intubated patients are fully vaccinated

The new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Greece in the last 24 hours stand at 4,026. According to the information from EODY, the total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,457,256 (daily change + 0.1%), of which 48.8% are men.

The number of possible new re-infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 490 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 136,374 (3.8% of the total number of positive results).

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 9, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 29,857 deaths have been recorded. 95.6% had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older. The number of patients treated by intubation is 130 (61.5% men). Their median age is 71 years.

93.1% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 62 (47.69%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 68 (52.31%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,685 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
