Coronavirus Greece – 4,324 new cases, 15 deaths, 173 intubated

Among intubated patients, 91 (52.6%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 82 (47.4%) are fully vaccinated

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the coronavirus recorded in the last 24 hours were 4,324. The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,389,306 (daily change + 0.1%), of which 48.8% are men.

The number of possible new infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 407 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 128,726 (3.7% of the total number of positive results).

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 15, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 29,536 deaths have been recorded. 95.6% had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 173 (67.1% men). Their median age is 71 years. 92.5% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 91 (52.6%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 82 (47.4%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,652 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
