Covid-19 measures in Greece extended for one week

Lately, the number of deaths on a daily basis is prohibitive for any thought of relaxing the measures in place

The Experts Committee of the Ministry of Health on Covid-19 recommended the extension of the measures against the pandemic for one more week beyond the 23rd of January after meeting today on the course of the pandemic in Greece.

The measures are expected to be reviewed next week, before a decision is reached if the music will be allowed in restaurants on Monday 31/1, but also what will happen with the opening hours and the entertainment venues.

The recommendations for an extension appeared inevitable, as lately the number of deaths on a daily basis is prohibitive for any thought of relaxing the measures in place.
