Cretan students build Hydrogen car that emits water

This unique car has won four awards in international shows, impressing the judges with its safety features and fuel economy.

Students of the Technical University of Crete have built an amazing hydrogen car that emits water instead if carbon dioxide or any other pollutants.

The Eco Racer was conceived, designed and built exclusively by a team comprising of undergraduate and graduate students of the TUC, headed by Chronis Spanoudakis, and it is the ultimate ecological and economical hydrogen car with zero emissions.

The vehicle is completely safe, noiseless and enjoys autonomy of 600 km with only one liter of fuel. Its body is made of carbon fiber so that it weighs very little and its engine is fueled by hydrogen cells.
