Draghi: For the markets sake the reforms must continue

According to the president of ECB ” Financial crisis will come to an end only if the structural reforms are implemented”

The president of the European Central Bank Mario Draghi, in his speech at the Committee of Economic and Monetary Affairs of the European Parliament in Brussels stressed that the ECB recognizes the significant progress that Greece has made by taking fiscal measures and implementing  structural reforms.

Further, he added  that the progress is recognized by the market as well,  which offered financing to Greece. According to him the   purchases are based on the assumption that Greece will continue its efforts to reform and everything else under the current program. Finally, Mr. Draghi stated that all countries should use this current time to continue their efforts on reforms.

The president of ECB concluded by saying that ” Financial crisis will come to an end only if the structural reforms are implemented”.
