Edessa in shock: 450 Victoria’s Secret hopefuls duped by fake talent scout

Meet the man who posed as model scout and undressed 450 girls

A young man from Edessa has met the wrath of 450 girls from around Greece after he told them that he was a talent scout from Victoria’s Secret in order to trick them into giving them photos of themselves in a nude or semi-nude state. The modeling hopefuls believed that he was a bona-fide modeling agent only to have him disappear on them after they sent their photos.

The community of Edessa, Northern Greece, known as the ‘city of waters’ due to its waterfalls has been set on fire following the revelations. The 27-year-old man with the huge smile approach the women on Facebook. According to his Facebook profile he claims to have been born in Namibia and has photos of himself at the Eiffel Tower and Big Ben and there are a number of photos of himself and friends from the army posing with an army of beautiful girls. He listens to Greek hip hop band Imiskoumbria, Themis Adamantidis and the Scorpians.

MAN

In the world of Facebook he is married with a beautiful brunette and works as a Victoria’s Secret modeling scout. He promised girls anything from 350-1,000 euros for their photos.

The Greek cyber police first learned of the young man’s activities in 2014 when a young girl approached the police in panic, quivering with fear that her photos would be leaked.

The police had a hard time tracing her attacker as he was well-versed on the internet, used a number of profiles and was able to cover his cyber tracks well.

The last victim to pose for him sent her photos on Monday, January 24. Just a few hours later, after a 2-year investigation police were able to find the man along with incriminating evidence in his mother’s house where they found his PC, a tablet and USB stick with thousands of sensual photos as well as those of dozens of girls that had complained to the police.

The community of Edessa is in a state of shock. Though his parents are divorced, they both raised him well with education and travel and the best that they could possibly offer. The father of the accused told Proto Thema: “For us there is no issue. My son has always been next to me and has never disappeared. All that you have heard about him disappearing is just made up by the media. The child has not been accused of anything as we are still at the preliminary stage of the examination. Journalists are the ones sensationalizing everything so as to get a scoop. Stop reporting inaccuracies and ruining the reputation of a young person.”
