New provocative statements were made today by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking on the 949th anniversary of the Battle of Manzikert.
“We will get what we are entitled to in the Black Sea, the Mediterranean and the Aegean”, he said.
“Those who were forced to leave Anatolia in a miserable state and are now playing tough in the Aegean, are like the psychology of whistling in the cemetery”, he said.
As he said “fear does not benefit death. Turkey in the Aegean and in the eastern Mediterranean and in the Black Sea will get what it deserves. As we have no claims for the rights and sovereignty and interests of anyone so we will not give up our own. That is why we are determined to do anything politically, economically and militarily. We call on them to put their act together to avoid actions that will lead them to disaster”.
“Turkey is not a country that needs to be tested for its patience, ability and determination. Everyone must understand this. If we say we do it, it means we do it and we pay the price. If there is anyone who wants to face us and pay the price, let him come. If there isn’t anyone, then clear our way and let us do our job”, said the Turkish president.
