FBI and NSA not happy about the new iPhone

FBI Director James Comey criticized at a news conference Apple’s new encryption feature

iPhone may bend easily… but it’s difficult to crack!

The new encryption setting featured in the recently released iPhone 6 gives cause for alarm among the law enforcing and surveillance agencies in the US, according to foreign media, as it is extremely difficult to crack.

FBI Director James Comey criticized at a news conference Apple’s new encryption feature, which uses a code that could take “more than five-and-a-half years to crack.”

Comey accused Apple of making things easier for criminals, especially in kidnapping cases, when the content on a phone often reveals the whereabouts of the victim, the New York Times reports.
