Who knows what might have been on the mind of a young man from France, who yesterday disguised himself as a woman in a wheelchair, so as not to arouse suspicion, and visited the Louvre Museum in Paris in order to…throw a cake at its most famous exhibit!

Pictures and videos that make the rounds of the internet show the famous painting of the Mona Lisa covered with white cream.

In reality, however, the only thing that got dirty was the protective glass in front of the invaluable work of art, which was painted by Leonardo Na Vinci in the period 1503-1519.

According to the Spanish site, the museum’s security staff immediately ran and removed the man from the room, while people around him continued to take photos and videos of the strange incident.

Fortunately, the incident ended quickly, and without the slightest damage to the painting, which was cleaned immediately so that the art lovers who visited the museum yesterday, Sunday, could continue to admire it.
