Free healthcare for children in need

Doctors of the World are offering healthcare to children in the region of Xanthi from January 17-18

Pediatricians are ready to treat children in Xanthi, northern Greece, whose families can’t take them to see a doctor due to financial or social reasons. The mobile health unit of Doctors of the World will be in the region from January 17-18 at Dimokratias Square at the Municipality of Xanthi from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with free:

*pediatrics care, check-ups, dental checks

* medicines to cover basic pediatric needs

* preventative medicine

* vaccinations for children whose families don’t have insurance

The mobile unit of the Doctors of the World have offered free healthcare services to over 57,000 children aged from 4-12 years from 2003 until today and have traveled around 30 islands and 45 prefectures of Greece.
