G. Stathakis meets with representatives of Greece’s creditors

The spotlight is on Greek debt

The law on households unable to meet their debts and the settlement of non-performing (so-called “red”) loans is dominating the meeting between Economy Minister George Stathakis and the representatives of the four institutions (European Commission, European Central Bank, European Stability Mechanism, International Monetary Fund). Sources state that creditors want property objective values to not be in excess of 120,000 euros and the income criteria to remain near the poverty line. Greece, on the other hand wants to keep objectiv e values at 300,000 euros and the income criteria at 35,000 euros.
