Powerful German FinMin jokingly substitutes chocolate coins for real Euros… (Better than handshakes, of course)

During an interview with a junior reporter for ZDF, aged 10, German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble was offered chocolate coins and the quick-witted wheelchair-bound politician promised that he would offer these to Greece, specifically to Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis.

During the same interview, Schaeuble confessed that he doesn’t just talk politics with his counterparts, adding that he likes to discuss football with his Spanish counterpart.
