A big fire broke out on Tuesday morning in the city center of Xanthi, in the tobacco warehouses are located.

Fifteen firefighters with eight vehicles are operating on the spot, while all those who are in adjacent shops have been instructed to leave, for safety reasons.

There are many abandoned tobacco warehouses in the area, while the cause of the fire remains unknown, so far.
