Greece condemns the attacks on civilians in Rafah and demands a thorough investigation

Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic calls for an immediate ceasefire, respect for humanitarian and international law and the release of all hostages held by Hamas

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic condemned the attacks on civilians in Rafah and underlined the need for an immediate ceasefire.

“We demand a thorough investigation to shed light on the exact circumstances of this attack,” the ministry’s tweet stated, among other things. “Greece once again calls for an immediate ceasefire, respect for humanitarian and international law by all parties, immediate humanitarian aid to Gaza, and the release of all hostages held by Hamas,” it further emphasized.
