Greece has 24 hours to implement the prior actions

The 1 billion euro aid tranche for Greece was approved, but first government has to implement the last three prior actions

Euro Working Group approved on Thursday the disbursement of the 1 billion euro aid tranche for Greece after Greek government withdrew the parallel economic program following lenders’ reaction.

However, Greece has first to complete two or three technical steps, such as the publication of decisions in the official journal.

“It was approved subject to Greece completing two or three technical steps such as the publication of decisions in the official journal,” a senior official said according to Reuters.

“That should be done by Friday so the board of the European Stability Mechanism can make the disbursement on Friday night.”

Earlier Bloomberg mentioned citing European officials that Greece has 24 hours to implement the last three prior actions in order to receive the 1 billion sub-tranche.
