On the main Athens-Thessaloniki highway, specifically at Avlona on the direction to Athens, there has been a car crash in which more than ten trucks and cars have been involved.
In the area, visibility is limited due to dense fog, which makes it difficult for drivers to see.

Video from the scene of the collision shows that some of the cars were seriously damaged.
According to an official information from the Traffic Police, the accident occurred a few minutes after 9 in the morning.
Earlier, at 08:30′, another car accident occurred in the direction to Lamia, where six vehicles collided.
