Greece to procure deadly SPIKE-NLOS missiles

These missiles can be used with equal success against targets in the air (helicopters), at sea (landing ships), and on the ground (tanks)

The regular meeting of the Government Council for Foreign Affairs and Defence (KYSEA) approved the procurement of SPIKE-NLOS systems for the needs of the Armed Forces. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and it was decided that the acquisition was necessary to upgrade the armed forces’ capability, while approval was also given on the progress of other equipment programs.

The relevant ministers were informed about immigration and the preparation for the new firefighting season. The SPIKE-NLOS missiles are remote-guided, with a range of up to 35 kilometers. Their inclusion in the Greek arsenal is expected to create an impenetrable shield around every Greek island.

These missiles can be used with equal success against targets in the air (helicopters), at sea (landing ships), and on the ground (tanks).
